Short biography

Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston was born in Californmia and spent much of her life on the West Coast. She met her husband and co-author, James D. Houston, at San Jose State College. They were married in Hawaii in 1957. A tour of duty in the USAF took them to France, where they travelled and studied at the Sorbonne for a year. They and their three children now live in Santa Cruz.
