Join us as author Elisabeth Hyde discusses her work and helps us celebrate our 10th birthday! In the Heart of the Canyon is a gripping new novel about a rafting trip through the Grand Canyon that changes the lives of everyone on board. Out in paperback, it is a perfect Book Club read. Books will be on sale at the event courtesy of Tattered Cover Book Store. Elisabeth Hyde was born and raised in New Hampshire, and briefly practiced law for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. She took some time off in 1982 to write her first novel, Her Native Colors, and never looked back. She has been a scholarship participant in the Bread Loaf Writers Conference, teaches creative writing, and is also the author of Monoosook Valley, Crazy as Chocolate and The Abortionist's Daughter.
