Jean Raspail (1925–2020)

Prophetic, but that's about the best I can say about this. Many like the style, but it reads like there was a conscious trade off of any realistic subtly for maximum shock value.

For that reason, it's a hard book for me to get into or take seriously, even if there isn't much else in terms of well-made fiction on the right.

A fascinating story of the Kaweskar people who inhabited the southernmost tip of Tierra del Fuego and how they fared with the arrival of the European. Very well imagined.

Read it, can't remember it, brought it back from my parents place to re-read so I can rate it..
