Eugène Kain is a senior IT executive with more than 17 years of experience in the IT and software development industry, including almost 10 years at the management and director level.
He's currently managing mission-critical financial applications in production at a leading investment bank: Societé Générale Corporate & Investment Banking.
During his previous position as Vice President Product Development at Cartesis, Mr. Kain managed projects and teams of more than 100 people, delivering more than 10 product releases per year and working in an international and multi-cultural environment: France / UK / USA / India.
Previously, he was Technical Director at Business Objects, where he spent 5 years managing several large mission-critical projects and coordinating technical efforts for the entire R&D organization.
Mr. Kain started his career by working for 8 years in software development & services companies, where he held diverse positions such as project manager, expert consultant on Microsoft technologies, systems and application architect, and expert C /Windows developer.
Mr. Kain holds a master’s degree in science and engineering from the École Centrale de Paris, one of the top engineering schools in France.
