"Eclectic" was the word used to describe why I shouldn't finish a PhD in Sociology, and where I should look for my greater value to the world. And it's been eclectic ever since. But these varied experiences give me what feels like limitless material for fiction and for applying what I find in my Christian tradition (both testaments). I experience it all as a calling and serial revelation, and claiming no institutional authority, I hope to open discussion, provoke engagement among readers, with readers, and with ancient texts and contemporary society.
