His debut collection of poetry, Better To Travel, was nominated for the 2003 Georgia Author of the Year Award, Kate Tufts Discovery Award and Lambda Literary Award. MetroMania Press published a limited-edition chapbook, Slow To Burn, in 2006. Seven Kitchens Press re-issued Slow To Burn as part of its ReBound Series in August 2011. He is a multiple Pushcart Prize nominee and a recipient of the 2007 Georgia Author of the Year/Taran Memorial Award from the Georgia Writers Association at Kennesaw State University for poetic excellence and his work as co-editor of the Java Monkey Speaks Anthology Vol. 2. David-Matthew Barnes is the author of the young adult novels Mesmerized, Swimming to Chicago, and Wonderland, the suspense thriller Accidents Never Happen, the popular women's novel Ambrosia, and the rock ’n’ roll love story The Jetsetters. He is the author of over forty stage plays that have been performed in three languages in eight countries. His literary work has appeared in over one hundred publications.

DON PERRYMAN is a retired English teacher who grew up in west Georgia, attended Georgia State University, and has lived in Roswell for the last 25 years. KAREN HEAD, an Atlanta native and professor at Georgia Tech, is the award-winning author of Sassing, My Paris Year, and Shadow Boxes. Her poetry has appeared in journals and anthologies around the world. COLLIN KELLEY is a poet, playwright and author of the novels Remain in Light and Conquering Venus. His poetry collections include Slow to Burn, After the Poison, and Better to Travel. He also produced the spoken word CD HalfLife Crisis. MOSE HARDIN, born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, has spent the last 22 years in Atlanta. After attending the Art Institute of Atlanta, he began working for A&M Records, BMG Distribution, and finally created his own independent online marketing company. After losing his partner of two years to an untimely death Mose decided to write his journey to recovery in his debut poetry book Namaste Mose. His second and third poetry books, Love Infinity volume 1 & 2 soon followed. DANIEL HELMINIAK, a Pittsburgh native, is author of the Outwrite's all-time bestselling book, What the Bible Really Says about Homosexuality as well as Meditation Without Myth. Holding a Ph.D. in psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in theology from Boston College and Andover Newton Theological School, Helminiak teaches sexuality and spirituality in the Department of Psychology at the University of West Georgia. His areas of special interest are post-childhood development and human sexuality. SPECIAL GUESTS: Mary Kay Andrews and special musical talents Bucky Motter and Ken J. Martin, with poetry reading by Rico Revels, Iyana and Cleo Creech.
