The first book of this Trilogy is a sweet-hot sexy romance mystery.

With some unexpected plot twists, humor, oddly compelling e-texts, it stands out far above the usual borderline X-rated books.

The interactions among Anna, the Masseuse, and her salon friend, Amy, are enjoyable.

While it is clear, over and over, why Anna is instantly attracted to handsome, dashing, dangerous Alec,
it is less understandable why he felt equally drawn to her through her little car window...
maybe the next books will give readers more?

Won this copy at Goodreads. This is the 3rd book (final) book to a series. I've not read the other two books of the series, so rating may be higher if I had. The book do mention things that happened in the other books, so you know why this one starts out iike it does.

Very intense story line. At the beginning of this one Alec and Anna not together, but her mind is on him lots. She thinks he no longer cares and is surprised when she finds out he has been keeping a watchful eye on her all this time thru others. When she is in danger once again he's back into the picture.

Don't want to give too much away, to spoil for others. But story just lets us know that things not always what it seems and not to give up on love.

4 1/2 Stars!

I won this book from the Goodreads Giveaway, and boy am I glad I did!!

I was completely surprised, first of all, that this is the author's first novel. It's written wonderfully and sometimes an author's first book is good but had potential for more. That's not the case here.
Anna and Alec are both great characters. I love when a male character goes sort of primal and protective over the girl he can't get off his mind. It's like a manly way of showing affection. I liked reading about them going through their growing problems then I got blindsided by new problems that I didn't see coming. Blindsides are the best when done right. Let's just say this one was done remarkably.
Everything completely captivated me, the interesting characters, the steamy intimate scenes, and all of the craziness at the end. I can't wait for the next book and any other books the author may have in the future.
