George Klingman was a preacher among the churches of Christ, and was one of the earliest instructors at Childers Classical Institute in Abilene, Texas (today Abilene Christian University). He delivered the first address in the 1918 Bible Lectures, the inaugural program of the lectureship that continues to this day.
