A refreshing look at the national effort to defeat Napoleon. The usual efforts are not far ranging enough when describing the cabinets and their effects on the bureaucracy necessary to organize the country, and its international diplomacy.

As can always be the case when reading something by someone with such depth of knowledge it can be a little confusing, but nonetheless this is an excellent, far-reaching and thought-provoking insight into Napoleonic convoys, a definite for anyone with any kind of an interest.
