"Lewisboro has a legendary haunted history. Last fall, Town Historian Maureen Koehl published a compilation of our town’s most popular ghost stories and legends -- Lewisboro Ghosts: Strange Tales and Scary Sightings. This collection of ghostly tales passed on to Maureen over the years includes stories of strange sightings at the Horse and Hound, apparitions in the Three Lakes area, and mysterious sounds in the hamlet of Lewisboro. In this presentation, Maureen will share the stories made famous on her annual Ghost Walk of the South Salem hamlet, as well as newly discovered tales from the more remote areas of town. Signed copies of her book will also be available for sale (we have already sold out all our copies – twice!). Don’t miss this entertaining book, and entertaining presentation. This program is suitable for adults, as well as children in middle and high school. Please call the library to register." (alibrarian)
