Short biography
Stephen Lankton is a social worker who has trained extensively in several broad areas. As an undergraduate, he studied engineering and chemistry but eventually settled in the social sciences, including psychology and linguistics. His training as a therapist was similarly varied -- first in Gestalt therapy and psychodrama, later in transactional analysis, body therapies, neurolinguistic programming, and Ericksonian hypnosis. His writing in the field reflected this eclectic background, combining features of several approaches into a deeper understanding of hypnosis and transformative change.

Stve lives in Phoenix, Arizona, where he works as an organizational consultant, trainer, and therapist. [adapted from The Mummy at the Dining Room Table (2003)]
