Chicago native and Book Cellar regular Joe Meno joins us for the release party of his forthcoming novel Office Girl. Set in February 1999, it tells the story of Odile and Jack, two twentysomethings who, disillusioned by their banal cultural surroundings, create an art movement in an effort to reclaim meaning in a world hampered by predictability. In doing so, they come face-to-face with their own misplaced ambitions as well as life's looming uncertainties.
Featuring readings by Stephanie Plenner, Lindsay Hunter, and Adam Levin. Music by Nick Butcher and Jordan Martins!

 Doppelgangers: Adam Levin & Sara Levine Doppelgangers is a new reading series taking place the second Tuesday of the month at Jimmy's Woodlawn Tap. It features two authors reading from their work and discussing it with one another and the audience. For our first event, Adam Levin and Sara Levine (guess where the name of the series came from) join us. Adam will read from his newly released short story collection, Hot Pink. He is also the author of The Instructions. Sara will read from her debut, Treasure Island!!!
