Michelle Linn-Gust is best known for her work helping people cope with loss and change in their lives. While her writing career started in first grade when she created books with titles including, Funny Fruits, it was the suicide death of her younger sister when Michelle was 21 that led to her first book, Do They Have Bad Days in Heaven? Surviving the Suicide Loss of a Sibling. However, Michelle's first novel, Beyond the Finish Line, started when she was in high school, remains unpublished although not forgotten.
