Elizabeth Little Signs in San Diego
A graduate of Harvard University, Elizabeth Little
has written two works of nonfiction: Biting the Wax Tadpole: Confessions of a Language Fanatic and Trip of the Tongue: Cross-Country Travels in Search of America’s Languages. Her work has also appeared in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Now Elizabeth has written a gripping debut mystery that Tana French calls “an all-nighter…the best debut mystery I’ve read in a long time.” It’s the story of Janie Jenkins, a young LA socialite who has just been released from prison for murdering her mother—a crime she has no memory of committing. Janie follows a lead to track down the real killer despite the fear that the killer may be herself. Check out Maryelizabeth’s review of this Fantastic Firsts Pick the back side of this newsletter.
