LOOKMAN was born in the 1950's a time when children still adventurously roamed freely and made their own entertainment. His interest in Sufism led to his use the pseudonym LOOKMAN, which derives from the wise sage who advises his son in the Qur'an.
After leaving school, he became a political activist, was a press officer for a political party and became the second youngest elected councillor. He has studied to a postgraduate level, married in 1980 and has four daughters.
He has a passion for writing has produced three radio plays, six novels. He published three novels in 2008.
His favourite genre is juvenile fantasy adventure. He also writes mysteries within a historical/cultural context with humour. His objective is to position himself between traditional Children's adventure stories and manga books.
