The Children of Now
Crystalline Children, Indigo,
Star Kids, Angels on Earth,
And the Phenomenon of Transitional Children
by Meg Blackburn Losey, Msc.D., Ph.D.

This amazing book is a must read for anyone out there who is raising our young gifted children of today. The author has gone through a painstaking and I am sure delightful task of connecting with many of these wonderful galactic ambassadors and the book is filled with many accounts of what they know, what they do, and especially how they feel and use their gifts. There are even special pictures here and there that really got me to see a lot more.

I especially liked the list of traits and what to look for regarding the different types of kids. I learned about many precious people including Lorrin. I would recommend this book to seekers everywhere, parents, grandparents or not. Learning to recognize and embrace these blessed darlings will help mankind grow and evolve and this book will go along way in helping us understand. Thanks Meg, our gratitude knows no bounds.

Love & Light,

Conversations With the Children of Now
Crystal, Indigo, and Star Kids Speak Out About the World, Life,
and The Coming 2012 Shift
by Meg Blackburn Losey, MscD, PhD.

This 255 page guide through the wonderful world of spiritual enlightened and gifted children is a precious continuation from the original treat of getting to learn that there are such gentle beings to finally learning how they feel and believe about so many things. I loved the Q & A format presented in this book. First we learn about some of the children themselves and then we see how they answer a set of questions presented to each one.

I grew up with the expression, "out of the mouths of babes", but this excellent luminary takes it to a whole new level. I found the pictures of the kids fascinating and could clearly see the joy and energetic difference right there, I could just tell somebody was home and it was a weird feeling to realize they knew more about what was going on then I did. I would recommend this very much needed journal about the next generation of light workers to anyone drawn to understand more about our spiritual selves and the shape of things to come. Being the Mom and Grammy of this special breed of kids I can tell you that it answered a whole lot of questions for me on a personal level. Thank you so much Meg, for showing us our future.

Love & Light,

This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.
I haven't read the previous book, so I felt at a strong disadvantage because the author assumed I knew a lot that wasn't really explained. I didn't feel at all applicable to my kids or me.

Sometimes a book just misses its audience -- I felt like I really didn't "get" what this book was saying. People more in tune with the author and philosophy might get more out of it.

Having read "The Children of Now," I was excited to find Losey had written a followup. I felt that much was left out of the first book, outlining a problem that people who are led to read such books already knows exists, without pointers in how to bring in balance. Finding that omission of info a lack in the books' premise, I selected "Parenting the Children of Now," because I expected it to explain how to work with kids who function at a higher level of awareness. This book is marketed as the New Age guide for raising Indigo and Crystal children, when it's really about how to be a better parent. Along that line, it's excellent. Any parent who doesn't want to pass wounds down to his/her kids, is an active participant in their own wellbeing, and has a soulful recognition of their connection with All Things will gain wider awareness of how to raise their children from this book. That said, the emphasis is on the parent, not the child. If this book was named "Being the Best Higher Awareness Parent You Can Be," I'd give it five stars. It is not about parenting children, Indigo or otherwise, and readers expecting that topic will be confused, if not dismayed. Still, if you want to understand how to connect with yourself, which can only strengthen your connection with your children and foster them to create and maintain more balanced wellbeing for life, read on. Even if you don't have or even want kids, this book is a great resource for self-healing.… (more)
