Amy was born in northwestern Wisconsin and moved frequently as a child, living in several places including Germany, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and New Mexico. Post high school, she spent 5 months in Ghana with Mercy Ships Int. and 6 months based in Hong Kong traveling around China. She graduated from Metro State University in St. Paul, Minnesota at the end of 2006 with a BA in Biology, and married Ryan Lundebrek earlier that year.
Her first book, "Under the Night Sky," which celebrates nature and community, was published in 2008 by Tilbury House Publishers.
