Alan T. Luu was born in 1975 in Can Tho, Vietnam, months after the end of the Vietnam War. He and his family were among hundreds of thousands of ethnic Chinese who fled Vietnam in the years after the war.
They were fortunate enough to be accepted as refugees into the United States, where Alan would start kindergarten without a lick of English ability. Years later, he would become a naturalized U.S. citizen and graduate from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology.
Along the way, Alan discovered a love for the arts, including dance, theater, and of course, writing. He currently lives in Germany with his new wife and is excited to share the first book in his series, SON OF THE FALLEN.
