Short biography
After serving in the U.S. Army in World War II and Korea, and participating in Special Forces operations in Laos, Gray Lynch became a CIA officer in 1960. He participated in the Bay of Pigs operation and later directed commando raids against the Castro dictatorship. He retired from the CIA in 1971.
