Dawn Marcus is a medical doctor, neurologist, and professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker and educator and has published over 100 articles in medical journals and a dozen health and medical books. Her medical practice and research have focused on holistic treatment for chronic pain problems, with a special interest in non-drug therapies. Her main areas of research have been migraine and fibromyalgia. Dr. Marcus also has two certified therapy dogs who accompany her to the hospital to see patients.
