Isolde Martyn attended the University of Exeter and has received a number of honors for her work, including the Best Historical Novel Award from Romantic Times Magazine and the Romantic Novel of the Year Award from the Romantic Writers of Australia. Also a historian and editor, she is the former chair of the Sydney, Australia branch of the Richard III Society.
