These are mostly last-minute type gift projects in bulky wool. Some of them are items that I have made or might make, but not these particular patterns. There are some cute bird ornaments in bulky yarn; those would work for someone who has the yarn and the inclination. The gift bags would stretch out (knitted bags need to be lined or felted, especially if knit in bulky wool). There are a couple of traditional mid-20th century stockings, think Mary Maxim style intarsia, one is a santa. And there are some perfectly hideous oversized mantel mittens with fringey ribbon cuffs. Instructions for recreating 10 gorgeous log cabin quilts, accompanied by other techniques. Black & white photos and pretty succinct instructions make me wonder how straightforward recreating any of them will be but there are some really amazing variations. Worth a look just for a good read.
