Chicago's annual Mod weekender, Our Way of Thinking, is back with its eighth instalment: The Simple Headphone Mind. This year the annual record swap / Mod flea market is at The Liar's Club, and NEW DANCE author Ruadhán McElroy will be there with event packs that include a copy of NEW DANCE, a CD-R of music featured in the story, buttons featuring characters from the story, and a special short comic scripted by Ruadhán and featuring the art of Toronto-area queer comic artist, Susie Beeca. Event packs are $17 ($15/novel; $2/comic; FREE/CD-R & button packet). Ruadhan will also be selling other Mod pin-back buttons singly, for $1 each. (youngsoulrebel)… (more)
