Really disappointed in the book itself, but it does have a glossary that may be usable.

‘More Fabric Art Collage’ by Rebekah Meier is a wonderful book for all mixed media artists and fabric painters and stampers, and quilters, and anyone who enjoys paper or fabric! More Fabric Art Collage contains so many techniques that you have to read the book to learn them all. And the supplies that you can use to make amazing art are so numerous!
If you ever need a how-to book on methods of changing fabrics and paper, this is the book to read! I know that I will be going back to read about the techniques and projects for a long time. And, if you ever want to see how products are used in art, this is the reference you will need.
Meier shows how to use thermofax screens, stamping, painting fabric, batting, fabric fusible, clay, Lutradur, different types of mediums, batiking, Transfer Artist Paper (TAP) and so much more. Along with all of this information, More Fabric Art Collage contains projects for some of these techniques, and also discusses fabric postcards and artist trading cards.
I am so glad to have this book. There will be no need to purchase other how-to collage and technique books. More Fabric Art Collage is a mainstay of my instructional books!

When I first saw the cover of the book, "Fabric Art Collage" by Rebekah Meier, I knew I had to have it. The extraordinary things you can create with some of the new innovative supplies on the market is remarkable.

Rebekah certainly gets the creative juices flowing with the mixed media techniques she uses to make these collages. The well organized table of contents is listed by technique. She explains what the materials are and how to use them. With materials like fabric, paper, paint, etc., you will learn to use texture and distressing to create embellishments and new fabrics for beautiful projects. You can start at the beginning and work through each technique, or jump straight to the techniques that intrigue you. No matter where you start, you will find this book easy and fun!

If you have ever wanted to try collage techniques but did not know where to start, I suggest buying this book! The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and the photos show each stage of the process clearly. Whether you are a beginner who has never worked on a collage or a seasoned artist looking for fresh ideas and techniques, this book is for you.
