Larry Millett is an architectural historian and the former architectural critic for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He is also the author of a number of nonfiction books, including Lost Twin Cities, Strange Days, Dangerous Nights: Photos from the Speed Graphic Era, and Once There Were Castles: Lost Mansions and Estates of the Twin Cities. He has also written a series of Sherlock Holmes mysteries set in the United States in the 1890s. (Ginerbia)
