Karl Minor, an Englishman and London native who resided in Germany, was a publisher in Hamburg. He became an Esperantist in 1921, and became the literary editor of "Germana Esperantisto." He cOmpiled an Esperanto-German dictionary (1924), translated Lessing's Nathan the Wise, which was performed at the World Congress of Esperanto at Nurnberg in 1923. In 1933, being Jewish, he fled to London.
