Natalie Shapero has worked as a civil rights lawyer and a teacher, and is currently a fellow with The Kenyon Review. Her poems have been published in Poetry, FIELD, The New Republic, and elsewhere. She will read from her debut collection, No Object.
Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, Katia Mitova moved to Chicago in 1993. She wrote The Human Shell (poetry collection in Bulgarian) and Erotic Uncertainty (a dissertation, Committee on Social Thought, University of Chicago) before she found her true genre, dream poetry. She will read several “cuts” from her Dream Diary.
