About the Author
Retired racer Bud Moore lives in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Perry Allen is an investigator for Wells Fargo Bank and a noted racing historian. He has written three other McFarland books on stock car racing, appears weekly on Droppin' the Hammer and lives in Spartanburg.

This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.Got this book for my dad who is big into NASCAR he was super excited for it and said it was a great read and really enjoyed the book. It was really insightful and a quick read and had very interesting information regarding Stock Car racing but not over top. A good book!

He became the team manager for such drivers as Bobby Allison, Dale Earnhardt. This book gives insight into the world of Stock Car Racing from someone who has been there. This book should be of major interest to those who want to know more about what goes on in the world of Stock Car Racing.
