Daniel was born on November 7, 1957 to Paul and Norma Morton in Deland, Florida. He spent the major portion of his childhood years as a Florida resident although he did spend a couple of years in schools in North Carolina and Virginia.
He and his wife Beverly now reside in North Carolina and have six children and two grandchildren. Twenty nine foster children have been trusted to their care over the years.
Daniel has worked in many fields including: Farming, Manufacturing, Restaurant Management, Sales, etc. He has also served as Pastor for three churches. He has served on faculty with many marriage enrichment event, as family life coordinator, and discipleship director for various organizations.
Writing has alway been one of his hobbies. His first published work, Eyes of the Ocean, was released May 10, 2011 as the first in a trilogy. Book Two and Three are in the works.
