This is A FREE, ALL DAY SEMINAR – Saturday, April 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is sponsored by MoveOn, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting economic fairness and justice for all citizens through education, media awareness, communication with government and business leaders, and non-violent direct action. It is open to all citizens who are concerned with the current state of our economy and interested in making their voices heard. This event is about the economy - not politics. It is open to the public and completely NONPARTISAN. Everyone is welcome. You will have a chance to share your personal story (if you choose) and hear stories from your neighbors. All we ask is that everyone be respectful of each other. MoveOn is a nonprofit organization, however we do NOT accept donations. Guidelines: Dress VERY comfortably – some of the training involves moving around. Bring paper to take notes, pens or markers and a water bottle. You may also want to bring a cushion or mat – folding chairs can get uncomfortable and we want you to have a positive experience! We are having a potluck luncheon and asking everyone to bring a dish to share. Once you register, a sign-up sheet will be posted and you can choose what to bring. While we think a potluck will be fellowship building it is NOT mandatory. You may bring your own sack lunch if you wish. Just let us know. Space is VERY limited so you MUST make a reservation – no walk-ins. Please include your name, telephone number and an Email address so that we can send you links to course materials to print at home and bring with you to the event. For more information, visit the MoveOn.org website, or contact: Elizabeth Warren (760) 305-7010. Reservation deadline is Wednesday, April 11. (LizWarren)
