Klaus Nonnenmann, geboren 1922 in Pforzheim, musste sein Studium aufgrund einer Tuberkulose-Erkrankung abbrechen und war war dann als freier Schriftsteller und Dramaturg tätig. 1959 trat er bei einer Lesung der Gruppe 47 erstmals an die Öffentlichkeit. Er verfasste zahlreiche Geschichten und Feuilletons für Zeitungen und Rundfunk. Nach vielen Stationen lebte er zuletzt zurückgezogen wieder in Pforzheim, wo er 1993 starb.
