The World's One Hundred Best Short Stories (In Ten… by Grant Overton
A great "beside-your-armchair" book. I am surprised at how quickly I'm getting through the volumes, because I dislike short stories as a genre. And this has proved a great way to catch up with the famous short stories that I hadn't got around to reading. Mostly American authors, but a number of European authors in translation (Daudet, Guy de Maupassant, etc.).
