Katherine Owen is the author of Seeing Julia, Not To Us, and When I See You. A contemporary fiction novelist, Owen concentrates on themes such as loss, love, and fate in her work. Owen is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a major in Editorial Journalism and a minor in English Literature. In late July of 2010, Owen won first place and the coveted Zola Award in the highly competitive romance category with her novel, Seeing Julia, in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association’s National 2010 Literary Contest.
Owen lives near Seattle with her husband and two children where she is working on her next novel.
