TKE's Spring into Summer reading event will showcase a selection of authors for young adults including Luisa Perkins (Dispirited), David Smith (The Dark Eagle's First Flight), Cindy Hogan (Protected and Watched), and Elizabeth Anderson (Impressions).
Participating authors will read from and sign their featured titles.
Perkins writes speculative fiction, specifically contemporary dark-ish fantasy. She lives in upstate New York.
Smith was born in Salt Lake City. He earned an MBA from Northwestern University and currently resides in southern California. The Dark Eagle's First Flight is his first novel. In conjunction with his events, Smith also coordinates "Book Cache Adventures" by hiding treasure boxes (with the book inside) and posting the GPS coordinates on our website. There are boxes hidden here in Salt Lake! CLICK HERE
Hogan graduated with a secondary education teaching degree and enjoys spending time with her family when she is not writing.
Anderson is a full time English teacher whose love for young adult fiction and inspiration from the many characters in her life has motivated her to write her first novel. She lives in West Valley City, Utah with her husband and four children.
