A scholar if William Blake for more than 30 years, Michael Phillips was guest curator of the William Blake exhibition at the Petite Palais, Paris, France (April to June 2009), and has been guest curator of the Tate Britain and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as co-editor of the exhibition catalogues. Dr. Phillips' most recent book on Blake is William Blake The Creation of the Songs From Manuscript to Illuminated Printing (Princeton, 2000). His upcoming book, Blake and the Terror a Biography of William Blake in Lambeth during the Anti-Jacobin Terror in Britain 1792-93, is nearing completion.
