Mary Preus (1)

Mary Preus spent eleven years with the Seattle Parks Department as a Senior Gardener, caring for the green spaces beloved by local residents. She was also the owner and operator of the Silver Bay Herb Farm in Silverdale for nearly twenty years, and she is an ISA Certified Arborist. Mary is the author of Growing Herbs (Sasquatch, 1983) and the Northwest Herb Lovers’ Handbook: A Guide to Growing Herbs for Cooking, Crafts & Home Remedies (Sasquatch, 2000).
