of Passaic County, N.J.; Ringwood Manor, Passaic County, N.J. Born in New York, New York County, N.Y., April 17, 1868. Son of John Dyneley Prince and Anne Maria (Morris) Prince; married, October 5, 1889, to Adeline Loomis. University professor; member of New Jersey state house of assembly, 1906-09; Speaker of the New Jersey State House of Assembly, 1909; member of New Jersey state senate from Passaic County, 1910-12; U.S. Minister to Denmark, 1921-26; Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, 1926-29; Yugoslavia, 1929-33. Member, American Academy of Arts and Sciences; American Philosophical Society. Died in 1945. Burial location unknown.
