From the time girls are very young, they are bombarded with messages from the media, their families, their friends, and their teachers, about who they are, what they're capable of, and what they should aspire to. These messages shape the story of their lives, and affect their self-esteem, their self-worth, ... (more)and their confidence in pursuing their future dreams to their fullest. In this workshop, Deborah shares her personal story and challenges girls to not only reclaim and rewrite their stories, but be inspired and empowered to know they have the power to create the future they dream of.
