A born expatriate, Linton Robinson lived much of his early life in Asia, cultivating a lifelong taste for the third world and appreciation of frontiers. A writer from grade school and publisher/editor in high school, he has been a professional writer since his early twenties, winning awards as a journalist and feature writer for magazines like Harpers, American Photographer, Science, and Penthouse, as well as urban newspapers from Washington to California. Since the late eighties, Lin has lived in Mexico, Latin America, and the California border area. He writes for publications in Mexico and is author of several books on Mexican travel, Spanish, and Mexican slang, as well as volumes of poetry.
