Short biography
Maria Schneider grew up in New Mexico where the desert environment required that she embellish the landscape with her imagination. After working in the computer industry for twelve years, she decided technology moved too slowly, and again put her imagination to work, creating messes and then inventing characters to handle all the clean up. She currently resides near Austin, Texas.

This was surprisingly good. A page turner of a mystery with paranormal elements. If I was a bigger mystery fan, I'd likely rate it higher.

I liked ke the heroine, the world building stayed logical even with paranormal elements and her being a witch. Not the devil worshipping, coven-controlled-hierarchy, or *poof*-gee-unexplained-powers-chicklit type of thing that irritates me in some books. A well-written element of the book that added to the story. No insta-lust/luv or fated mate stuff (a whiff of potential romance towards the end).

I'm likely to read next in series when in the mood. I would not have guessed this a self-published book had I not already known before reading/buying it.

Sedona O'Hale is the girl who takes on muggers, writes great computer code, what she is not is an up-and-coming corporate exec.

But she is asked to go undercover (with all the trimmings - condo, hot car, great clothes) to find a thief. Follow her lead as she helps investigate who is stealing from Strandfrost.

Easy read with lots of laughs.

This is the second book of the Sedona O'Hala Mystery series. Having solved her first case of corporate crime, Standfrost Huntington wants her to take on a second corporate investigation.

She will be a techie at Acetel a computer equipment support corporation. Sedona needs to piece together the mismatched clues as well as dodge bullets while working on her love life.

I enjoyed reading this story and following the clues.
