In Vision for Life, Meir Schneider presents exercises for a natural health eye routine that will help restore damaged tissue and remedy existing problems, including near- and far-sightedness, lazy eye, cataracts, glaucoma, optic neuritis, detached retinas, macular degeneration, and retinitis pigmentosa.
Born with cataracts in his eyes and significant vision problems, Meir Schneider was officially pronounced legally blind after a series of unsuccessful surgical attempts that left his eyes filled with scar tissue. At the age of 17, he came across the Bates Method of eye improvement and began to practice with unparalleled diligence. Within eighteen months he could read without glasses, and nowadays he holds an unrestricted California driver's license. His success led to the creation of the "Meir Schneider Method of Self-Healing Through Bodywork and Movement," a non-medical, holistic health prevention and rehabilitation system and the founding of the School for Self-Healing located in San Francisco.
