Chef Hamid Salimian and The Legendary Cuisine of Persia
Sunday, January 20, 5:00 p.m.
Chef Hamid Salimian of Diva at the Met is our special dinner guest this Sunday. Chef Salimian was born in Iran and grew up by the Caspian Sea amid his father's citrus orchards, rice fields, dairy farms and traditional Persian cuisine. His early food memories of fava beans, wild pomegranate, and herbs that could only be harvested before sunrise are also linked with memories of sharing this harvest with family and friends. This evening Chef Salimian shares stories and a delicious Sunday Supper inspired by The Legendary Cuisine of Persia by Margaret Shaida.
