Well as the Wikipedia link should make clear, we have here what appears to be a whole mob of Peter Smiths, perhaps everybody needs to try and specify their own Peter Smith first with middle initials and see if we can start sorting this mob out. Peter CHARLES Smith is the Naval Historian and I have separated him out BUT if you own Cruisers in Action 1939-1945 or any of the naval histories listed above, you need to change the name of the author on the entry in your library in order to get these books moved over under the proper author.
