On Halloween, Helen and her dog, Martha (Martha Speaks) end up in a witches' supermarket accidentally. Martha is dressed as a witch, and Martha as a cat, so they stay under the radar at first...then make a quick escape.

I loved the little details in the illustrations in this book, and the story overall was silly fun, just right for Hallowe'en. Good for a variety of ages in terms of children!

Marta and Skits want to cheer up their master Helen, so they prepare a cake with the aid of unexpected helpers such as their neighbor, a mailman, and a pizza delivery guy. In the end, the dogs end up eating their cake because dad brought cake for diner.
