Amy Trubek, author of The Taste of Place will work with chef Steven Obranovich to develop a regionally inspired, three course menu that will illustrate the various connotations of the term terroir. Before each course is served, Trubek will explain another facet of terroir, a French word that is often used to describe the unique qualities food obtains from the land on which it is grown.
