Delena Tull is an environmental science educator, naturalist, and freelance writer, and she is near completion of a doctorate in science education. She has taught at the University of Texas and Austin Community College. Tull's articles on wildlife, plants, archaeology, and history have appeared in many periodicals, including Austin Homes & Gardens, Southwest Airlines Magazine, Texas Gardener, and Mother Earth. Tull and her husband, George Miller, wrote the two-volume Texas Parks and Campgrounds guide for Texas Monthly Press. She and her family reside in San Marcos, Texas.
