Dr. Chris Turney is a British geologist currently based at the University of Wollongong, Australia. Chris did the radiocarbon dating on the "Hobbit" skeleton of Flores, Indonesia that hit the headlines worldwide in 2004. He has published many scientific papers and magazine articles and given numerous media interviews, thanks to his infectious enthusiasm for working out how old things are.
