Disambiguation Notice
I have undone the split for Hugh Walpole. The only other Hugh Walpole listed by LoC is Hugh R Walpole, b.1905 who wrote books on language and semantics. I can see no works on this page that seem to be by a separate author. I can't find anything about Christina, but Walpole wrote many short stories and that is probably one of them - not worth a split for that.
My direct knowledge of this prolific author is negligible so, if I have missed something, please correct the split and accept my apologies.
