Little Kid Reaction: My kids liked the pictures of the dog and were stimulated to answer the questions about what color was on the page, identifying objects that were the color, and counting the number of objects of that color. We read it a few times, at their request.

Big Kid Reaction: I did like the book. The pictures were cute and I liked that my kids were engaged to participate in the learning.

Little Kid Reaction: My children enjoyed the fun pictures of the dogs, and were able to identify the large shape on the page. They read it once, but did not want to do it again.

Big Kid Reaction: No, I did not like the book. I felt that the shapes were forced onto the picture in an uncreative manner -- an octagon was drawn on the bubbles of a sudsy sink, and also in a random area of the picture. The shapes were not organic to the pictures of the dogs, and left me wanting for a more creative and effective manner to present shapes to my children.
