Lindsey's writing often takes on a dark flare and explores the depth of the human experience whether in this reality or an imagined one. She writes about many things from dystopian science fiction to stories about mental illness and family dysfunction.
She has studied psychology and mental health extensively, both of which have greatly influenced her writing. She graduated with degrees in psychology and in mental health. She lives in Canada with her many pets and continues to write. Outside of being an author, she continues her work in mental health.
